Cyber Defense Competition Team
About Us
The University of Washington's Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition Team is a student run club that trains for and competes in The Collegiate Cyber Defense Competion annually. The competition focuses on practical, corporate information-technology skills, with a major emphasis on security. The competitions themselves involve defending a misconfigured network from a team of professional penetration-testers called The Red Team, while ensuring that required services continue to function normally and securely. Our UW-Seattle team has won our regional competition, Pacific Rim CCDC, from 2008-2014 and 2017 and the national competition 2011-2012.
